Having a Big Why in your life is powerful for many reasons, not the least of which is that it allows you to be your authentic self; To be the real, genuine and no-filtered you. Whether it be at home, work or play, if you can just be you, you will have more fun and less stress because of it. If you are a little bit goofy, be a little bit goofy. If you like to have fun, have fun. The thing is, God made you the way you are for a reason and He doesn’t make mistakes. He made you just the way He wanted and that is good enough to be great. So be authentic.
A big part of being authentic is letting people in on why you do what you do. It is about being transparent with them. Because here is the thing, if you don’t tell them why you are doing what you do, they are going to come up with the reason on their own and chances are their reason for you doing what you do is not going to be as noble as your reason. Remember, most of us judge other people by their actions, not their intent. If people know your intent and it does not work out, they won’t fault you if they know your motives are pure. If they don’t know your intent and things don’t work out, watch out! You will most likely hear from various sources as to the folly of your ways.
Another great aspect about being who you truly are whenever and where ever you are is that you don’t need to keep track of who you are being and where you are being it. You are just being you, pure and simple. People like you for you or they would not spend time around you. So lean into who you are why you are and watch how people (and more of them) gravitate toward you even more.
